Expected Impact of NED-TAM 2019
The expected outcome and impact of the “North-East Divyangjan - The Artisans Movement” is to encourage an inclusionary approach towards divyangjan and:
- Create awareness about skills and abilities of divyangjan.
- Encourage entrepreneurial avenues for divyangjan.
- Encourage skill training & mainstreaming of divyanjan in the fashion industry
- Develop formal curriculum for skilling of divyanjan.
- Enhance the scalability and marketing of products by divyang entrepreneurs.
- Recognize craftsmen, designers and other skilled manpower in the industry.
- Enhance Make-in India movement.
- Promote export of products made by divyangjan.
- Promote indigenous culture and art-forms of NE.
